ALAN MCGEOCH ON BASS

Alan McGeoch joins the One Night of Queen family as of January 2024 and we cannot wait to get rocking with this awesome young man!

Alan picked up the bass and guitar at 14 years old, and instantly knew that’s what he wanted to do for a living. He went on to study at North Glasgow College, and worked with various wedding bands until he auditioned for the Red Hot Chilli Pipers (yes, bagpipes!). He played bass with them from 2011-2018, and switch to guitar duties 2018-2023.

His gig highlights include BBC Proms in the Park, T in the Park, Fuji Rock Festival & playing at the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix.

When he’s not rocking out on stage, Alan enjoys running, playing tennis, drinking IPA, and watching old Formula 1 races.
